I truly enjoy my profession. It is rewarding to help my clients work toward and achieve their personal goals. I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups on a variety of mental health issues.

I grew up in Wisconsin. In 1995, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. From 1995-2000, I lived in Japan, teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) to children and adults. In 2001, I graduated from Columbia University, New York City, with a Master of Science in Social Work degree. I received my LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) designation from the state of California in 2008. Since 2009, I have been associated with the Trauma Resource Institute; and am currently a TRI consultant. I was certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in 2012.

Professional affiliations include: Trauma Resource Institute, EMDR International Association, International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, National Association of Social Work, California Society for Clinical Social Work, and the Glendale Area Mental Health Professionals Association.
